TRANSFUSION
This device cannot prolong life, never could, and confronts us with the powerlessness that comes with being human. It represents our attempts to understand and control life and ultimately highlights our inability to prolong it. Despite advancing technology and medical advances, death remains an unavoidable reality. The only consolation is that the device openly displays its interior and is allowed to simply be jewelry.

Dieser Apparat kann kein Leben verlängern, konnte es nie und konfrontiert uns mit dieser Ohnmacht, die das Menschsein mit sich bringt. Er steht stellvertretend für unsere Versuche, das Leben zu verstehen und zu kontrollieren, und verdeutlicht letztendlich unsere Unfähigkeit, es zu verlängern. Trotz der fortschreitenden Technologie und medizinischen Fortschritte bleibt der Tod eine unvermeidbare Realität. Einzig tröstend zeigt der Apparat offen sein Inneres und darf einfach nur Schmuck sein.
